Las Fuentes Taqueria is a modest, straightforward Mexican restaurant tucked along W Seminary Drive in Fort Worth, known primarily for its traditional breakfast and hearty Latin American offerings. The spot is small and a bit tucked away, which seems to foster a cozy, no-frills atmosphere where locals settle in for a satisfying meal rather than a long sit-down dining event. It’s the kind of place that draws in those craving authentic Mexican comfort food, especially in the morning hours when the smells of homemade menudo and freshly cooked barbacoa fill the air.

The menu is focused on classic dishes that stretch beyond the typical taco joint, featuring items like Menudo, Barbacoa Tacos de Lengua, and breakfast burritos loaded with chorizo and eggs. Many visitors come early on weekends to enjoy bowls of pozole or menudo, dishes that require an appetite for traditional Mexican flavors and a bit of patience for the slow-cooked depth they offer. Those looking for a late breakfast or early lunch will find a selection that includes enchiladas with green sauce, chile relleno plates, and potato flautas served with rice and beans—meals that feel hearty enough to fuel a weekend around town or a casual weekday break.

The size of the restaurant keeps the energy lively and feels like a spot where regulars might nod in familiar fashion to the friendly staff. Service tends to be prompt and welcoming, even during busier mid-morning hours when patrons come in to grab breakfast burritos or settle in for a sit-down meal. It’s a place where takeout is an option but many choose to eat on-site, appreciating the homey kitchen aroma and casual communal tables.

If you’re visiting Fort Worth and want a meal that serves up traditional Mexican breakfast or comfort dishes without any fuss, Las Fuentes is best experienced earlier in the day, on a weekend or weekday morning. It caters well to folks with a genuine interest in authentic regional Mexican cooking—from those who grew up with these flavors to curious food enthusiasts looking beyond standard Tex-Mex fare.

Food was delicious, if you are visiting Fort Worth, this is a great place to sit down and eat. ( they do have take out as well, but I like to sit and enjoy) I also had the Menudo sin Pata and a chorizo and egg taco. Both were fabuloso.

Another cool Sunday morning, another powerful craving for a great Mexican breakfast I had to satisfy. A quick search and found this restaurant. The pictures others had caught my eye and looked amazing. Walking in, there was a moderately busy pace and all the aromatics floating around. Very strong Mexican menu with lots of traditional choices. I went with the barbacoa plate and a bowl of menudo. I found a table and sat down. Before I could finish my morning texts, my server had my food. As soon as I saw the barbacoa, I knew it was going to be awesome. It looked and tasted like when my family would gather for the holidays and make it. Very rich, well cooked meat with an incredible flavor profile. The menudo was very meaty with not much hominy but mild. Very clean and good cuts of the meat, so it was highly enjoyable. Great meal!!

Stopped in Saturday for a pozole date - I’m always in search of a good bowl of pozole. Made sure to beat the crowd on Saturday morning and that we did. Arrived a little after 930 and were quickly greeted, order thanks then seated (which was out of order for me). I already knew I wanted pozole so didn’t need to look at the menu BUT if this is your first time or want to browse the menu, this can be a little much since it felt VERY RUSHED. Naomi was our waitress and she was wonderful. Checked on us often and returned with our requests promptly. Pozole was delicious! Loaded with tons of meat and the broth was bursting with flavor. There was a small container of salsa we each got and I figured it was for the chips…NOT - it was more of a chile de aceite and didn’t play! I like spicy so added it to the broth so I could sweat and get the sniffles. Haha. All in all, delicious breakfast. Definitely recommend for a non peak time - as we were leaving it was PACKED! Parking is a bit chaotic in this little shopping center but luckily there is a lot across the street specifically for this place.

I've only had the burritos here, but they are pretty amazing!! It's a little far from where I live but definitely worth the drive! I'll try something new next time. The menudo looks good. Staff is friendly.

This restaurant is very popular. I have visited on different days of the week and it always busy. The food is good, portions are acceptable. Although they do not have enough parking space once you are inside they are very organized and service is fast. Last time visited W had menudo and it was hot ( as it is supposed to be) and you get all the garnish you need. Overall, it is a good place to visit next time you crave menudo.

This place is busy (for good reason), but basically a hole in the wall. Lots of to-go business. I must say that my large carnitas burrito was amazing! A fair price and excellent salsa. If I lived closer, I'd become a regular.
